The free AWT Bus service links all venues, making one of the world’s most dynamic art scenes more accessible than ever before.

During this period, you can receive a 10% discount for the exhibitions “Tada Minami―Still, shimmering light”, “Synchronic Constellation: Cross-Boundary Perspectives in Art”, and “MOT Collection: Past Light, Present Sight” by presenting Art Week Tokyo wristband at the museum ticket counter. *Discount applies only to the purchase at the ticket counter.

AWT TALKS Directors Conversation
A NEW HOPE: IMAGINING A MUSEUM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

This year’s edition of the AWT Talks Directors Conversation will address the topic through three main concerns: How are museums engaging with and cultivating a new generation audiences and communities? What steps are museums taking to foster the next generation of artistic practitioners? And what structural innovations might make it possible for museums to thrive for the next century and beyond? Rather than engaging in existential hand-wringing, this forward-looking line of inquiry is intended to elicit the spirit of play, reflexivity, and imagination that characterizes the best practices already inherent in museums of modern and contemporary art—as well as those still taking shape.
