Pinaree Sanpitak
Born 1961 in Bangkok, Thailand, and currently based there.
Pinaree Sanpitak explores her sense of being in the world through her art, drawing inspiration from her personal experiences and relationship to the female body. Engaging with the concept of the body in its many dimensions — individual, communal, spiritual — she presents it as a container of lived experiences, perceptions, and emotions. Trained in Japan, Sanpitak works with minimal shapes, colors, and textures across various materials, and her work ranges from paintings to large-scale installations in public spaces.
During the exhibition period, our museum restaurant “100 Spoons” and café lounge “Sandwich Upstairs” are offering a special collaboration menu with Pinaree Sanpitak, featuring a course meal and parfait inspired by her works.
