"BEADS" is a series made by using transparent spheres (cells) to cover the surfaces of motifs found on the Internet with specific search strings, transforming them into PixCell (pixel + cell) works. Textures and colors are broken apart by the large number of cells. Searching for stuffed and mounted animals above a certain size at online auction sites, Nawa found many "deer" that could be used as his materials. Selecting two similar mounts and overlapping them, he created Double, which demonstrates the danger of handling physical things as data. With .eXe, he depicts the animal skin before being stuffed and mounted, representing the volume of plain information that can be extracted.
*.eXe=Name taken from the file suffix for a self-extracting archive, used here to represent the restoration of data that has been compressed without loss of meaning.
