八木良太｜Lyota Yagi 1980年生まれ。京都府在住。身近な音やモノ、そして言葉の属性を組み換え再編成することにより、時間や空間に対する感覚を改めて認識させ、それらの記憶との関係性などを探る。主な個展に「クリテリオム70 八木良太」（水戸芸術館現代美術ギャラリー、2007年）、「エマージェンシーズ8 八木良太『回転』」（NTTインターコミュニケーション・センター、東京、2008年）。主なグループ展に、「MOT アニュアル2011NearestFaraway｜世界の深さのはかり方」（東京都現代美術館、2011年）、第４回横浜トリエンナーレ（2011年）等がある。 Born in 1980, he lives in Kyoto. By rearranging or reconstructing the attributes of daily noises, objects and words, he causes us to reconsider our sensitivity towards time and space, exploring the relationship between these and memory. His main exhibitions include criterium 70: Lyota Yagi (Contemporary Art Center, Art Tower Mito, 2007), and emergencies #8: Lyota Yagi "Kai-ten" (NTT Inter-Communications Center, Tokyo, 2008). His main group exhibitions include MOT Annual 2011 Nearest Faraway (Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, 2011) and 4th Yokohama Triennale 2011 (2011).
