池田亮司｜Ryoji Ikeda 1966年生まれ。パリ在住。1990年代半ばより、音、光、そして人間の知覚の物理的な本質や関わりを追及した作品や作曲で、世界各国で展示やコンサートを行っている。領域横断的なコラボレーションも多い。アルス・エレクトロニカ2001（リンツ、オーストリア）、デジタルミュージック部門においてゴールデン・ニカ賞受賞。主な個展に、「＋/－［theinfinitebetween0 and 1］」（東京都現代美術館、2009年）、「thetransfinite」（パーク・アベニュー・アーモリー、ニューヨーク、2011年）、「db」（ハンブルガー・バーンホフ現代美術館、ベルリン 2012年）等がある。 Born in 1966, he lives in Paris, France. From the mid-1990s he has produced artworks and concerts around the world, pursuing sound, light and physical essence or the involvement of human perception. Many of his works are collaborations that cut through divisions of genre. He won the Golden Nicas Award in the Digital Music section of Ars Electronica 2001 (Linz, Austria). His main solo exhibitions include: +/- [the infinite between 0 and 1] (Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, 2009), the transfinite (Park Avenue Armory, New York, 2011), db (Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin, 2012), etc.
